How to Set Up the Waxstat-Shopify Integration

This guide will walk you through connecting your Shopify store to Waxstat, enabling seamless product synchronization and inventory management between the two platforms.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

• Spoken with a member of Waxstat to have your account ready for a Waxstat-Shopify Integration
• Admin access to your Shopify store
• A valid Waxstat retailer account with login credentials
• Access to a computer with an internet browser

Step-by-Step Setup Process

Step 1: Access Your Waxstat Account

1. Open your web browser and navigate to www.waxstat.com
2. Log in using the username and password associated with your Waxstat Retailer account

Step 2: Prepare Your Shopify Account

1. In a separate browser tab, log into your Shopify admin panel
2. Ensure you have administrative privileges for the integration process

Step 3: Navigate to Store Manager

1. In your Waxstat account, locate the user menu in the upper-right corner
2. Click on your username to open the dropdown menu
3. Select "Store Manager" from the available options

Step 4: Initialize the Shopify Connection

1. On the Store Manager page, click the "Connect to Shopify" button
2. This action will redirect you to Shopify's app installation page

Step 5: Install the Waxstat App

1. You'll be taken to a Shopify "Install app" page
2. Review the app permissions and details
3. Click the "Install" button at the bottom of the page to proceed

Step 6: Return to Waxstat

After installation, you'll be automatically redirected back to your Waxstat dashboard.

Product Synchronization

Automatic Product Mapping

1. Navigate to the "Product Mapping" tab in your Waxstat dashboard
2. Click the "Auto-Match All" button to begin automatic synchronization
3. Allow several minutes for the system to sync your entire Shopify catalog with Waxstat

Manual Product Mapping (Alternative)

If you prefer to map products individually or need to handle specific items:

1. Remain in the "Product Mapping" tab
2. Locate products that need manual mapping
3. Click the "Map to Waxstat Product" link in the last column for each item
4. Follow the prompts to complete individual product mappings

Verify Your Integration

Check Product Inventory

1. Select the "Products" tab in your Waxstat dashboard
2. This page displays all synchronized product inventory and pricing between your Shopify store and Waxstat
